Did you know that the first World Environment Day was Discussed on the first day of the Stockholm Conference on Human Environment in the UN! Then two years later in 1974, the day was first observed in the United States! The theme for 1974 was "Only One Earth" This year's theme focuses on "Ecosystem Restoration" So let's all work on restoring our beautiful planet to its former glory!
