I SPEAK FOR THE EARTH

I speak for the Earth,

The ivy bushes and the cycle of birth

The flowing rivers and the golden skies

Each human moment and teary goodbyes

I speak for the Earth as I recollect,

The damage you inflicted and its adverse effect.

I talk about the melting snow,

And how each seed must fight to grow

I speak for the Earth over my bleeding heart

Fix it now, stop searching for a new start

Each life you take, each heart you break

Stop blighting the waters, stop these mistakes

I speak for the Earth with knowledge in mind

That there’s hope left, even if you haven't been so kind

I know there’s hope left, despite the blood-red skies

I know there’s hope left, there’s hope in your eyes.

I speak for the earth as I plead,

Turn off the lights when not needed,

Be mindful of your actions, I can still be treated

Even if my tapestry’s been cut down

We can still save my crown

I speak for the Earth as I implore thou

Save me before it’s too late, save me NOW

I speak for the Earth,

The ivy bushes and the cycle of birth

The flowing rivers and the golden skies

Each human moment and teary goodbyes

Hey fellow Homo Sapiens! Uncovering a new perspective with this poem, I trust your actions going forth could be more focused on bringing our enchanting planet Back to life.
